In most cases, your current investment elections will transfer to the BMC 401(k). Funds that can’t be matched to an asset class in the BMC Plan will be mapped to the appropriate target-date retirement fund. Fidelity will send you a notice of how your funds will be mapped to the BMC Plan. You may change your election at any time and after your balance transfer is finalized.
Once your transfer to the BMC 401(k) is finalized on or around January 1, 2021, you may make changes to your account. Changes are effective on the next applicable pay period.
Yes, current beneficiary designations will transfer to the BMC Plan. However, you may not see your beneficiary designations when you log in right away. There may be a delay of about three business days.
