Group Auto, Homeowner’s, & Property Insurance

Special group rates and discounts on auto, home, renter's and more!

MetLife now offers homeowner, auto and other types of property and casualty insurance to BMC employees at group rates through the Farmers Insurance Group®. Policies include auto, home, renters, condo, boat, recreational vehicle, landlord’s rental dwelling, fire, mobile home and personal excess liability (umbrella).

With a Farmers Insurance Group®  home insurance policy, you’re eligible for full replacement cost coverage. It is what most people think they have, but when their home suffers losses, they find out their insurance won’t really put things back the way they were. It’s different with Farmers — you get full replacement cost, whatever the cost.

The cost of insurance is based on the type of coverage you elect, and you can choose from several convenient payment options, including payroll or checking account deductions. For more information, contact Farmers at 1-800-438-6381 or visit www.myautohome.farmers.com.

You can enroll or discontinue coverage at any time directly through Farmers.

Machine Readable Files

The Departments of the Treasury, Labor, and Health and Human Services (the Departments) have issued the Transparency in Coverage final rules (85 FR 72158) on November 12, 2020. The final rules require non-grandfathered group health plans and health insurance issuers in the individual and group markets (plans and issuers) to disclose certain pricing information. Under the final rules a plan or issuer must disclose in-network negotiated rates and billed and out-of-network allowed through machine-readable files posted on an internet website. Plans and issuers are required to make these files public for plan policy years beginning in 2022. This material is for information only. Health information programs provide general health information and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a physician or other health care professional.
